Just returned from beautiful Rice University Houston, taking part in a remarkable event. Lots of scholars working on the academic study of magic. In the Religion Department, no less. And now they I will be taking part in a Mellon grant on this. Did I mention that I also got funding to do the Hoodoo web project?

So I am really missing my ritual work. Missing my spirits. Missing my magickal practice with my entire body and soul.

I have no time and no energy for myself. Feeling resentful because I am on the road again tonight, this time to Haverford College to do yet another talk in the evening. And I just got off the plane last night!

Nevertheless, I asked for the work, I asked for the money, and my Ogou is a working lwa. So I will not complain.
